- For 2008 the Mercedes-Benz C-Class returns with a new-generation V6 engine in three new models -- C300 Sport, C300 Luxury and C350 Sport
- New for 2008, the 4Matic all-wheel drive system available on C300 Sport and C300 Luxury has been redesigned, the suspension and steering have been revised, and both models re flex-fuel capable and can use E85 ethanol as well as gasoline
- New standard equipment for 2008 includes a power sunroof, 8-way power front seats with lumbar support, dual-zone automatic climate control and Bluetooth connectivity
- The 2008 C-Class four-door is 3.9 inches longer and 1.7 inches wider than the previous generation model, with an increase in wheelbase of 1.8 inches

- To minimize disturbing air flow through the ports, the valve stems are only six millimeters in diameter, and angled at 28.5 degrees to optimize the combustion changer shape
